Jeep Wrangler Front Winch Bumper
They say that Land Rover is the best know 4X4 in the world. Its utilitarian presence is unbeaten. But the most commonly used recreational 4X4 in the world is the Jeep Wrangler!
The undisputed king of winches is the Warn 8274. Though now a 50-year-old design, the 8274’s are unsurpassed in performance, with it 73 feet per minute line speed.
Rather surprisingly, BTF found when trying to fit an 8274 to a customers TJ Wrangler, that nowhere in the world can you buy a proper winch bumper to fit the 8274 to a Wrangler!

These Winch Bumper are CNC cut and folded, and PNC welded. It is mounted to the standard bumper mounts and front anti roll bar mounts so has 10 points into the chassis from which to pull! The mounts are also designed to transfer any impact along the chassis rails, not through the mounts. In the bumper are holes to fit a standard tow hitch, directly in line with the right hand chassis rail and bumper mount, hence reducing stress through the bumper should recovery or snatch block be required.
The bumper is swept down below the ends of the
chassis to protect the TJ’s exposed steering box. There are two
apertures outboard of the chassis rails for access for a
jack.
Weighing in at less than 25 kgs (that’s less than half the weight of the 8274 its self) These bumpers come finished in red oxide primer ready for paint, or can be powder coated at additional cost.
